Bernadette BrennanBernadette Brennan is a literary critic, academic and researcher in contemporary Australian writing. She has published dozens of literary reviews and essays, a monograph on Brian Castro and two edited collections: Just Words?: Australian Authors Writing for Justice, and Ethical Investigations: Essays on Australian Literature and Poetics. Her most recent book is A Writing Life: Helen Garner and Her Work (Text 2017). Bernadette is currently working on a literary biography of Gillian Mears. She is the recipient of the inaugural Copyright Agency fellowship for non-fiction.
